Soak urad dal in water for 2 hours.drain the water and grind in a mixie using very little water.batter should be like the wada batter.

Add sugar and water in a pan for sugar syrup.the sugar syrup should be one string consistency. Add lemon juice,colour and kewra water and mix well.

Heat ghee/oil in a flat bottomed pan.

Pure the batter in the squeeze tomato ketchup bottle /piping bag.

Squeeze round spirals into the hot ghee and deep fry,till they are evenly golden and crispy.

Drain and soak in sugar syrup for 2-3 minutes. Take them out of the syrup.

Garnish with chopped dry fruits.

Serve hot.
