Jalebi is a sweet dish usually served with fafda or on festivals or other occasions.Children often love to eat Jalebi.
Steps

In a bowl mix maida,dahi baking powder and baking soda.Mix well using little water. Make not too thin or not too thick batter.Add food colour.It should be pouring consistency.

In another bowl mix sugar and water and make chasni.It should be 2 string consistency.Add kewra essence and saffron strands.

Keep the batter aside covered for 3-4 hours.

Now pour the batter in a plastic bottle with an opening. Fry the spiral shaped Jalebis in the hot oil.Fry the Jalebis on both the sides till golden and crispy. When done,remove and drained the excess oil.

Pour the drained Jalebis into the sugar syrup. Allow them to stay for couple of minutes till the Jalebis absorb the syrup.

Remove and Serve Piping hot.
