Name: Orzo pilaf

Ingredients: 3 cup chicken broth; 1 cup orzo, pasta; 4 slice bacon, cooked & crumbled, set aside; 1/2 cup diced onion; 1 clove garlic, minced; 1/2 each red & green peppers, diced; 6 diced fresh mushrooms; 1 salt & pepper, to taste

1 clovegarlic, minced
1/2each red & green peppers, diced
6diced fresh mushrooms
1salt & pepper, to taste

Steps

In a pot, bring broth to a boil, cook pasta til al dente.

Cook bacon in a large skillet, crumble, set aside

Drain off bacon grease but leave about 3 tbls, add onions, garlic, peppers & mushrooms saute til tender.

Add pasta into the vegtables, stir add crumbled bacon.
