Ingredients

1 hour 15 mins
8 servings
  1. 2 lbground beef (80/20)
  2. 8 ozfresh spinach (chopped)
  3. 8 ozmushrooms (chopped)
  4. 26 ozpasta sauce (I use mock marinara, will post the recipe seperately)
  5. 2 tbsphorseradish
  6. 1 tbsplemon pepper
  7. 4 tbspItalian seasoning
  8. 1salt
  9. 1pepper
  10. 1 tbsporegano paste
  11. 1 tbspbasil paste
  12. 1 packagesno boil lasagna noodles
  13. 32 ozmozarella
  14. 16 ozmonterey cheese
  15. 16 ozItalian Blend cheese
  16. grated parmesan cheese
  17. 2eggs
  18. 24 ozRicotta (cottage cheese may be used as a substitute, if used you will not need the eggs)

Steps

  1. 1

    Brown ground beef with horseradish, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning.

  2. 2

    Once the meat is browned add in the spinach, mushrooms and remaining seasonings. Cook over medium until mushrooms and spinach have cooked down.

  3. 3

    Whip 2 eggs in a bowl, add in ricotta cheese and parmesan. Mix thoroughly.

  4. 4

    Coat bottom of lasagna pan with marinara. Layer as directed on package of no boil lasagna. I use lots of cheese on each layer.
