I needed to clear out the fridge before a vacation, and to avoid wasting what I had already opened, I made a tastier twist on classic pesto pasta using just three ingredients.

I needed to clear out the fridge before a vacation, and to avoid wasting what I had already opened, I made a tastier twist on classic pesto pasta using just three ingredients.

Cook the pasta in boiling salted water.

In a skillet, mix the pesto (I used homemade pesto from a friend) with the non-dairy cream. Slice the cherry tomatoes and add them to the skillet. Heat everything together over medium heat. Adjust salt to taste.

Toss the cooked pasta in the skillet, then serve.
