Pork potstickers
First time making these so I decided to go plain jane but you can add whatever fillings you like (i.e cabbage or corn or chicken).
Steps
- 1
Take 1 cup of flour, salt and water; mix together until it makes a dough (add more flour if needed)
- 2
The 1/2 cup of flour spread that on a clean level base and knead dough until it no longer is sticking on hands
- 3
Roll dough into a snake form and cut 1 inch pieces and put aside
- 4
Take all ingredients for the filling and mix together
- 5
Get one of the dough pieces and roll it out to make a circle, place a spoon full of the filling mixture in the middle of dough
- 6
Fold dough over and either you can close with a fork or you can pinch the dough together to close; repeat this until all potstickers are made
- 7
Take a skillet and grease it with a little butter; place a couple potstickers in pan and brown on each side...then turn on low heat and add 1/3 cup of water and cover to let potstickers steam until cooked all the way bout 15mins
- 8
Done and serve with soy sauce or your choice of sauce
