I love peanut butter but never realized how easy it is to make. This recipe can be used for any type of nut butter as well.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 400°F Fahrenheit.
- 2
Spread shelled, roasted peanuts on a baking sheet. Heat for 8-10 minutes or until they get glossy with oil.
- 3
After heating, immediately transfer peanuts to food processor or blender.
- 4
Turn the food processor on for a minute, then stop and scrape the sides. (It won't look like butter at this point.)
- 5
Turn the food processor back on for about 30 seconds. Then, scrape the sides down and add a tablespoon of coconut oil.
- 6
Keep blending the nuts and oil continuously, pausing to scrape the sides every 2 minutes. Add a small amount of oil if it doesn't start to look creamy after doing this 3 more times, but be patient!
- 7
Once the texture is smooth, add honey (or choice of sweetener) and a dash of salt to your own preference. I used regular "table salt," but kosher salt would work. Blend until these are incorporated into the peanut butter. (Natural peanut butter is NOT going to get as smooth as store-bought PB)
- 8
Transfer into airtight container and store in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Clean Peanut Butter 100% - 2 Flavors Clean Peanut Butter 100% - 2 Flavors
When I first started eating healthy, I used to buy 100% peanut butter from health food stores. It had no added sugar, oil, or preservatives, but it was quite pricey. One day, I watched a YouTube video on how to make peanut butter and was amazed at how easy it was. Since I eat it so often, I thought, why not try making it myself? I've been making it once or twice a month since the end of last year. I store it in the fridge, and it lasts almost a month. I've made it so often that I've even experimented with cocoa/cacao flavors. mmammioTranslated from Cookpad Thailand -
Healthy Homemade Peanut Butter Healthy Homemade Peanut Butter
Today, I'm sharing a recipe for homemade peanut butter. Peanut butter is known for its excellent taste. Although it's a type of butter, the method to make it is quite different from regular butter. You can easily and cheaply make peanut butter at home. Homemade peanut butter is a healthier option compared to store-bought peanut butter because it is preservative-free and hygienic. Peanut Butter Hummus Peanut Butter Hummus
Hummus most often contains tahini, sesame seed paste, but it can be hard to find. I read somewhere about Nigella Lawson making hummus with peanut butter in place of the tahini, so I thought I'd try it. I didn't have lemon juice, so I used plain yogurt for the acid and I like it. Celeste -
