Ingredients

20 servings
  • 1ham bone and scraps
  • 1/2whole onion
  • 3celery stalks (whole)
  • 1pepper to taste
  • 1enough water to cover most of the ham bone

    Throw all of the ingredients in a big pot. Set on medium high heat for 2-3 hours

  2. 2

    Strain the stock and either use immediately or allow to cool and freeze.
