  1. Cookie ingredients
  2. 3/4 cupshortening
  3. 1 cupsugar
  4. 1egg
  5. 1/4 cuphoney
  6. 2 tbspmilk
  7. 1 tspvanilla
  8. 2 1/2 cupflour
  9. 2 tspbaking soda
  10. 1/2 tspsalt
  11. 3/4 tspnutmeg
  12. 1 tspcinnamon
  13. Dipping items
  14. 3 tbspmilk
  15. 3 tbspsugar

Steps

4 hours 10 mins
  1. 1

    Cream together shortening and sugar

  2. 2

    Blend in egg, honey, milk, and vanilla

  3. 3

    Beat until fluffy, then add dry ingredients and mix well

  4. 4

    Chill for 4 hours

  5. 5

    Form dough into small balls then dip them into milk and then into sugar

  6. 6

    Place sugar side up on a greased baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes at 350°
