Ingredients

2 weeks
for 1 pie
  • 1 poundboiled beef minced
  • 1 poundapples peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 1/2 poundraisins chopped
  • 1/2 poundsugar
  • 1 cupBrandy
  • 1/3 cupcider vinegar
  • 1/2 cupapple juice
  • 1/2 cupmelted butter/ suet
  • 1/2 teaspoonground cinnamon
  • 1 cupcandied citiron
  • 1/2 teaspoonground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoonnutmeg

Steps

2 weeks
  1. 1

    Mix all the ingredients together and heat 10 minutes. Let cool and put into a ziploc bag. Remove all the air from the bag.

    Let sit 2 weeks in the refrigerator.

  3. 3

    After 2 weeks it will be ready.

  4. 4

    To remove all air fill a bowl or sink full of water. Push the bag filled with minced meat till the top is above the water line letting the air escape. Seal and remove from the water.
