Ingredients: 3 lb granny smilth apples; 2 1/2 lb pink lady apples; 2 cup packed brown sugar; 1 tbsp lemon juice; 1/2 cup apple cider; 1 tbsp vanilla extract; 1 cup apple cider; 1/4 cup chopped pecans; 4 cup brown sugar packed sparated; 1 tbsp corn syrup light; 1 tbsp vanilla extract; 1 stick butter; 1 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix

Ingredients

12 servings

filling
3 lbgranny smilth apples
2 1/2 lbpink lady apples
2 cuppacked brown sugar
1 tbsplemon juice
1/2 cupapple cider
1 tbspvanilla extract
glaze
1 cupapple cider
1/4 cupchopped pecans
4 cupbrown sugar packed sparated
1 tbspcorn syrup light
1 tbspvanilla extract
1 stickbutter
cake
1 boxDuncan Hines yellow cake mix

Steps

Peel your apples wash and slice. Preheat oven to box directions bake cake let cool cut both layers in half making four cake layers

Mix all your glaze ingredients except 2 cups of the sugar and bring to boil after 15 minutes add rest of sugar let cool and thicken

Cook all the ingredients for filling for 30 minutes let cool

Put the first layer of cake on a flat plate cover with glaze then add apples add layer of cake on top of apples repeat till all layers are done
