  1. 2 largeportobello mushroom caps, cleaned
  2. 1 tbspolive oil
  3. 1 dashsalt
  4. 1 dashpepper
  5. 2 sliceswiss cheese
  6. 1/2 smallonion, rings
  7. 1/2red pepper, seeded, roasted
  8. 1/2tomato, sliced
  9. 1avacado, sliced
  10. 1/4 cupbasil, tightly packed
  11. 2 tbspmayonnaise
  12. 2buns, toasted

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat grill.

  2. 2

    Coat mushrooms in olive oil. Season.

  3. 3

    Place mushrooms on grill cap side down first. Cook 3-4 minutes. Flip then cook another 3 minutes. Add cheese and cook 1 more minute.

    Spread mayo on bun then stack the mushroom and toppings on bun.
