Mix all ingredients in mixing bowl. Add water and knead semi tight dough. Rest it for 15 minutes.

Knead it again for 2-3 minutes. Take some dough and make roll. Cut it in 1 inch pieces.

Dust flour on working surface. Roll it like a roti. Apply ghee/oil. Sprinkle flour.

Now cut into 1-1/2 Inch pieces.

Heat oil in a Kadhai on medium flame. Press dough pieces with hands. Slide one by one in hot oil. Deep fry these mathri on slow to medium flame until golden brown.

Mathri is ready. Let it cool on room temperature and store it in air tight jar.
