#diwalidelights - A personal favourite of mine, this healthy, chilled and refreshing dessert is also a family recipe. It can be dished out in a ziffy during any festive time. So go ahead and try this yummy dessert and relish anytime of the day.

It is simply divine and very soothing. But remember to have them chilled. There is no cooking involved in this recipe, hence it is ready in no time. Just add some poha and yoghurt to the aam ras and it is ready to enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 1 cupmango puree
  • 1 cupyoghurt
  • 1/2 cupflattened rice / poha (I used brown poha)
  • to tastesugar
  • pinchcardamom powder
  • 1 tsp.rose water
  • 2-3 tbsp.raisins
  • as neededdry fruits to garnish
  • pinchsaffron to garnish

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash the poha 2-3 times & soak in water for 10-15 min. or till it gets soft. Drain.

    Add the yoghurt to the mango puree.

    Then add the drained poha, sugar

    Cardamom powder, rose water

    And the raisins.

    Chill and serve in individual bowls / glasses garnished with dry fruits & saffron.
