This past year I began my journey as "The Gourmet Grill Guru". My mission is to infuse the exquisite element of fine dining with good ole' backyard bbq'ing. As I began sampling different recipes I noticed the improvement of taste regarding marinades mingled with fresh herbs.
Sweet n Spicy Basil Tomato Filet Mignon

Rinse filets under cool water.

Mix all listed herbs and seasonings with red wine and let marinate for at least 30 minutes in an air tight container or zip lock bag.

Chill and grill!

For garnish add French onion, diced tomatoes and shredded fresh basil on top of the grilled filet.

Optional: Toasted crouton/toast can be place under filet during plate up.
