One of my favorite meals as a child was my Grandmother Donahue's stuffed cabbage rolls. This is my version of her recipe for the crockpot. I love cooked cabbage so I just chopped it instead of rolling the meat in the cabbage leaves.

Ingredients

1 headcabbage, chopped
1onion, chopped
1 canchopped tomatoes
1 1/2 lbground beef, browned
1 cantomato paste
1 tspsalt
dashblack pepper
1 tspground cinnamon
1/2 tspfreshly ground nutmeg
1 tbspItalian seasonings
1 canbeef broth
1 cuprice

Steps

Put everything in crockpot except for rice. Cook on high for 4 hours.

Add rice. Cook for one more hour or until rice is done.
