Tomato Cream Sauce

Ingredients

4 people
  1. 2 cansdiced tomatoes
  2. 1/2sweet onion
  3. 3 clovesgarlic
  4. 1/3 cupheavy cream
  5. Olive oil
  6. Italian seasoning
  7. Salt
  8. Pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Gather ingredients

    Dice onion

  3. 3

    Mince garlic

  4. 4

    Heat olive oil in a wide pan. Add onion and garlic and sautée until golden brown.

    Add cans of tomatoes to same pan. Keep at medium heat.

  6. 6

    Add salt, pepper, and Italian seasonings to taste.

  7. 7

    Stir occasionally for about 20 minutes until most of water is cooked off.

  8. 8

    Add heavy cream and/or whole milk to desired consistency. Heat and stir for another 5 minutes.

    Serve with your favorite type of pasta.
