Grilled Lemongrass Chicken Wings

This dish is packed with flavor. Grilling the wings instead of frying it is also a healthier alternative. The lemongrass adds a refreshing flavor and a layer of complexity. Be careful not to grill on too high heat as the oil from the marinade can speed up the cooking process and singe the skin.

Steps
- 1
Place all ingredients (except chicken wings) in a blender and blend until smooth. Taste the marinade to see if more salt needed. If the marinade is too thick, add additional rice wine.
- 2
Pour marinade onto chicken wings, toss thoroughly and refrigerate over night. The next day remove wings from marinade and remove excess oil.
- 3
Grill chicken wings until cooked on the inside and skin is rendered on the outside. Dependent on the grill. Usually takes 25 mins on lower heat with frequent flipping.
