Cooking Instructions
- 1
Finely chop garlic and parsley, if possible use processor. Set aside.
- 2
In a large frying pan, heat oil over medium heat.
- 3
In a large mixing bowl, season chop meat first with salt and pepper. Add basil, chopped garlic and parsley. Mix by hand only once or twice.
- 4
Add the eggs to the meat, along with the Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs. Mix by hand only once or twice.
- 5
TIP: The meat can become too tough if mixed too much so be sparing when mixing together. Only 4 or 5 times at most.
- 6
If the texture of the meat still seems too dry, add water but be sparing.
- 7
Roll 2 inch meat balls and fry for about 10 minutes or until desired. Some may like them more crispy, taste stays the same!
- 8
The meat balls are so good you can enjoy them solo or add them to your favorite pasta dish! They are also amazing in a meatball hero 🍴😍

Slow Cooker Italian Style Meatballs Slow Cooker Italian Style Meatballs
My family loves meatballs and this is such an easy way to make them on a busy weeknight. It also means we can serve it in many different ways...for instance my kids prefer spaghetti and meatballs and my husband prefers meatball subs. I like my meatballs and sauce over spaghetti squash. If you're not using a lean meat for this, then you might want to brown the meatballs under the broiler for a few minutes on each side first...this will allow you to drain a lot of the grease before adding the meatballs to the slow cooker. This is my "go to" recipe when I need meatballs. The recipe is large enough that I can divide the quantity in half and freeze some for another meal. I call these Italian because of the seasoning, but they are close enough to Polish because of all the garlic. My husband says these are the best!! Adam Janowski -

These are Italian meatballs known as 'Polpetti'. They have a wonderful aroma! It's a simple yet seemingly elaborate homemade dish.Origin of this recipeI discovered this dish at a small restaurant while traveling in northern Italy. I've adapted it with vegetables and spices to make it easy to prepare in Japanese homes. As a side note, I was reminded of this dish when I recently tried Brandy's meatballs ID:18512367, which included nuts. ☽月光Translated from Cookpad Japan
