1/2 cupwhipping cream
1 tbspLemon juice
1/4 cupChopped pecans
1 tspVanilla extract

Melt the butter in a double boiler

Blend the sugar with the butter

Whisk in the cream until it's well blended

Stir in the lemon juice, cook for 45 minutes over simmering water. stur occasionally

Remove from heat, stir in the nuts and vanilla

Use hot as required
