My uncle's girlfriend made this for us when I was a twelve year old, and I begged for the recipe. Here goes.

Mix oil, salt, garlic, basil, pepper flakes, and mozzarella together and let sit for at least 30 minutes

Boil penne to Al dente as per instructions on your bag.

Drain pasta and toss with marinated cheese and tomatoes. Serve and enjoy.

I have made this pasta both hit and cold. I prefer the pasta cold so the cheese doesn't melt, but is is good both ways.
