Rice a la romanoff

This is one of my mom's casseroles from growing up. I am assuming it came out if a Good Housekeeping, or Redbook magazine. This became an extended family favorite and my cousins always asked if we, "brought the rice dish?"

Steps
- 1
Preheat oven to 350.
- 2
Mix together by hand the cottage cheese, sour cream (Grk. Yogurt), garlic, milk, salt and hot sauce.
- 3
Add the rice, green onions and butter.
- 4
Mix well
- 5
Turn into a greased pan..say a 11 x 7 pyrex pan.
- 6
Grate fresh parmesan over too. (I use romano to save money)
- 7
Bake in oven at 350 for 25 minutes.
- 8
This recipe doubles and triples well. We used it as a side for many Thanksgiving dinners.
