This is a cross between Salisbury steak and Swedish meatballs made extraordinarily easy. It's the meat of Salisbury steaks with the creamy sauce of Swedish meatballs. If you buy pre-sliced mushrooms, there's almost no labor involved in cooking this.

Ingredients

4 hours 5 mins
4 servings
  1. 1 lbSalisbury Steak (cubed steak)
  2. 8 ozMushrooms (sliced)
  3. 6 ozFat-Free Evaporated Milk
  4. 10 1/2 ozCream of Celery Soup
  5. 3 tbspSour Cream
  6. 3 tbspWorcestershire Sauce
  7. 1 1/2 tspSeasoned Salt
  8. 1 tspOnion Powder
  9. 1/2 tspGround Black Pepper

Cooking Instructions

4 hours 5 mins
  1. 1

To a medium mixing bowl, add all ingredients except steaks and mushrooms. Stir until completely combined. I'd advise mixing in a blender to fully incorporate them. Otherwise, the solids tend to separate during the cooking process.

  2. 2

Place steaks in bottom of a slow cooker. Layer mushrooms on top. Pour over bowl of mixed ingredients.

  3. 3

Cover and cook in slow cooker on high for 4 hours.

  4. 4

Serve with mashed potatoes or egg noodles.
