I made some adjustments to the batch I made. Instead of using brown sugar, I used 2 cups of sifted powdered sugar and a 1/2 cup of granulated sugar. I also added 1/3 cup of creamy peanut butter to my batter. As well as drizzling peanut butter icing over the top.

Ingredients

23 mins
24 servings
  1. 1/2 cup(1 stick) softened butter
  2. 2 cupbrown sugar
  3. 2large eggs
  4. 1 tspvanilla extract
  5. 2 tspbaking powder
  6. 2 cupall-purpose flour
  7. 1 1/2 cupm&m candies *or any candy you prefer* **OPTIONAL**
  8. 1 1/2 cupChocolate Chips are a great addition as well

Cooking Instructions

23 mins
  1. 1

Beat butter & sugar until creamy. Add in your eggs 1 at a time, until combined, then add vanilla and beat again.

  2. 2

Sift/mix together your baking powder & flour. Slowly beat your dry ingredients into the butter mixture. Then fold in 1 cup of chosen candy pieces by hand(spatula or spoon).

  3. 3

Spread batter into a greased or sprayed 9x13 baking pan. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup of candy pieces on top of brownie batter. Bake at 350°F for about 23-25 minutes. **I'D SAY CHECK AT 23** Let cool, and cut into squares. If you bake this in the correct pan, you should get between 12-24 depending on how you slice your brownies.
