Cooking Instructions
- 1
Put tea bags and ginger in cup and pour boiling water over them
- 2
Let the hot water sit for 5 minutes to get all of the flavors out of tea bags and ginger (you may want to wait longer to bring it to a drinkable temperature)
- 3
Add lemon juice and last of all the manuka honey (never add the manuka honey right away as the boiling water will diminish the healthy side effect)
- 4
Drink every day especially during cold and flu season and you'll be amazed! No more colds, no more flus, no more allergies, and its safe for kids over a year old, without the chemicals of over the counter medications. I've been drinking this mixture for nearly 2 year's without so much as a sniffle!

For Health and Beauty! My Mother's Safe and Easy Yuzu Tea Base For Health and Beauty! My Mother's Safe and Easy Yuzu Tea Base
This is my mother's recipe, and she's been using it for a long time.Ready made yuzu teas made from domestically grown yuzu are expensive, and while ones made with imported yuzu are cheaper, I am wary of them. It's easy to make at home, and I can trust one I've processed myself. If you're counting on the health giving properties of something you consume every day, it's best if it's "safe" "delicious" and "easy," right? If you don't like any hint of bitterness, take out the pith from the insides of the peel with a spoon, or blanch the peel 1-2 times after shredding it. This makes the yuzu very mild. I like to use the whole fruit for nutritional purposes, so I leave the pith as is. If you are using organically grown yuzu, you can skip the blanching part in Step 2.
