I saw this technique on cooks country. Tried it and achieved perfect results every time.
Steps

In large pot bring exactly 1/2 " of water in pot to boiling stage.

Add eggs, 2-6, straight from refrigerator and add to boiling water. Cover , time exactly 6 and a half minutes.

Remove from heat and rinse eggs under cool running water for exactly 30 seconds.

Place eggs in egg cup to serve.
- 5
With the back of a butter knife tap the top quarter of egg to open.
- 6
Remove top and season with salt and pepper to your liking.
- 7
Serve with toast points to dip in creamy egg yolk.
