Steps
- 1
While the barbecue is still a flamed put the peppers on the grill.
- 2
It'll take roughly about 15-20 minutes to grill, turn a few times.
- 3
Once the peppers have gone really soft and its burnt on the outside its cooked.
- 4
Take the peppers of the heat and place into a bowl of iced water to cool them down. No ice in mine but its super cold.
- 5
Start peeling them almost immediately after they are dunked in the cold water, it will be more difficult for you to peel them if they go completely cold. Remove seeds also.
- 6
Rinse the prepared peppers with water.
- 7
Cut the peppers into strips and place in a bowl.
- 8
Remove the cucumber skin and slice, then add to the bowl.
- 9
Slice the tomato as thinly as you can and add to a bowl with the peppers.
- 10
Next, peel and slice the onion thinly and add to the bowl
- 11
Add the olive oil, Vinegar, oregano and a pinch of salt.
- 12
Mix well, check seasoning and serve.
