Pour the water in an empty sufuria then add both jute mallow and cowpeas cover the sufuria with a lid and let it steam for 3 to 5 minutes, under a medium source of heat.

Take a different sufuria/ pan add the oil to heat, then add the chopped onions to cook until light brown.

Add the milk, salt to taste now and stir.

Add the vegetables inside, after draining the water from it.

Let the vegetables cook until it forms a creamy surface on top, stir and leave it for a couple of minutes then remove it from the heat.

Ready to be served with hot ugali alongside a stew (optional)
