Authentic Sangria with Red Wine Authentic Sangria with Red Wine
I wanted to make sangria with additive-free wine and organic fruits.Banana makes sangria cloudy, but also very tasty. If you'd like your sangria to stay transparent, omit it (I tried to wrap banana with parchment paper this time as an experiment). Add mango or papaya (these tend to be a bit expensive, so frozen ones are okay) for a tropical flair. A simple Cabernet Sauvignon would be ideal for this. Basically, though, you can use any kind of wine because you add lots of fruits anyway. Whenever you open a new bottle and you don't like it, try making it into a sangria. Sangria Sangria
I saved some red wine that didn't taste good.My hubby and I are drinkers, and so we add brandy or rum to up the alcohol content. Add some if you'd like! Adjust the amount of honey to taste. The soaked fruits become rather bitter, so they're probably not good to eat. Recipe by Puriman. cookpad.japan -
