Steps
- 1
Peel the onions and cut them in thick rings. Pat it dry on a tissue paper.
- 2
I have taken the rings of the same onion so that I get different sizes of rings.
- 3
Now combine the maida, corn flour, garlic powder, oregano, baking powder and salt.Mix well and prepare a batter making sure no lumps are formed
- 4
Cover it and keep aside for around 10 minutes.
- 5
Seperate the batter in 3 different bowls. Add yellow colour in one bowl, green in other and red in the 3rd bowl.
- 6
Mix well. So now you have 3 different colours of batter ready with you.
- 7
Heat oil in a non stick pan. Dip the onion rings in maida flour first then dip in the coloured batter making sure they are evenly getting coated. Deep fry on a medium flame. So fry onion rings dipped in all the 3 colored batters.
- 8
Drain on the tissue paper.
- 9
Sprinkle chaat masala. Serve immediately as shown in the picture.
