Ingredients

  • 15 ozcan of chick peas drained
  • 2avocados peeled and pitted
  • 3 tbspolive oil, extra virgin plus 1 tbsp for topping
  • 1 tspsesame oil
  • 4 tbspfresh lime juice
  • 2-3 tbsp fresh cilantro
  • 1 tspchopped garlic
  • 1/2 tspground cumin
  • 1salt and pepper to taste
  • 1red pepper flakes for topping
  • 1pita bread, pita chips, tortillas, pretzels or assorted veggies for dipping

Steps

  1. 1

    Place all ingredients except olive oil and red pepper flakes for topping in a food processor and cream all ingredients until really smooth.

  2. 2

    Drizzle reserved 1 tbsp olive and sprinkle with red pepper flakes.

So good! I subbed tahini for the oil and added a bit of the chick pea water. Turned out great!
