Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1 kgsalmon filet (with or without the skin)
  • 2 cupteriyaki sauce
  • 2 cupmaple syrup
  • 3/4 cupvegetable oil
  • 2 1/2 tbspfinely graded fresh ginger
  • 3green onions, chopped
  • 3 cupwhite jasmin or basmati rice
  • dashsesame seeds, for serving (optional)

    Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. 2

    Lay salmon filets in a clear glass baking dish.

  3. 3

    In a mixing bowl, mix the teriyaki sauce, maple syrup, vegetable oil and fresh ginger. Mix well.

  4. 4

    Pour the mixture on the salmon filets and top everything with the chopped green onions. Cover with aluminuim foil and put the baking dish in the oven.

  5. 5

    Cook covered for 25 minutes and then uncovered for another 5 minutes. In the mean time, cook rice according to the instructions on the box.

  6. 6

    Serve the salmon filets on a layer of white rice and top with sesame seeds.
