Ingredients

  1. Required
  2. 1 cupmilk
  3. 3 tbspcornstarch
  4. 1/3 cupreduced-sodium soy sauce
  5. 2 tbspliquid honey
  6. 1 lbskinless chicken breast, cut into strips
  7. 3 clovegarlic, minced
  8. 1/2 eachsweet red, yellow, green & yellow pepper, cut into strips
  9. 2 tbspbutter or margarine, divided
  10. Optional
  11. 2 tbsprice vinegar (to flavor rice)

  1. 1

    In a bowl, whisk a little milk into cornstarch to make a smooth paste. Whisk remaining milk, soy sauce & honey; set aside.

  2. 2

    Heat wok or large skillet over high heat. Add half of butter or margarine & swirl to coat. Add chicken & butter & stir-fry for 3 mins or until browned; transfer to a bowl

  3. 3

    Add remaining butter or marj to pan then add sweet peppers. Stir-fry for 5 mins or until tender. Return chicken & juices to pan; reduce heat to medium.

  4. 4

    Whisk milk mixture then pour into pan. Cook, stirring, for 5 mins or until chicken is no longer pink inside & sauce is thickened.

    OPTIONAL: After rice is finished, evenly pour vinegar and fold into rice.
