  1. 1 1/2 CupsWhole wheat flour
  2. 1 1/2 TeaspoonsBaking powder
  3. 1/2 CupHoney
  4. 3/4 CupMilk
  5. 1 Cupbananas Mashed
  6. 1/2 Teaspoonnutmeg Fresh powder
  7. 5 TablespoonsOlive cooking oil /
  8. 2 TablespoonsFlax seeds (optional)
  9. 1 PinchSalt
  10. 2 TablespoonsCocoa powder

    Preheat the oven to 350 F.

  2. 2

    Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Mix wet ingredients in a separate bowl. Fold wet into dry mixture.

  3. 3

    Pour half or slightly lesser portion of the batter in a bowl and add the cocoa powder. Mix well to form a dark brown batter.

  4. 4

    Pour the plain batter into a greased loaf pan. Now pour the brown batter onto it. Using a knife or skewer, swirl the two batters together. Since the batters are on the thicker side, the swirls may not form perfectly.

  5. 5

    Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a skewer/ knife stuck into the bread comes out clean. Allow it to cool for a few minutes before removing onto a plate. Slice, serve and enjoy.
