Melt butter add rice fry the rice in the butter coating well add your water and salt let boil till water craters form cover remove from heat keep covered 20 minutes undisturbed

Take butter melt add flour mix well form a roux stirring constantly

Add water stirring constantly till water becomes thickens add pepper, salt , garlic, and onion powder cook till its thick if to thick add a bit of water a tablespoon at a time to thin cook longer keep stirring.

Add the gravy atop the rice hope you enjoy
