Steps

Firstly peel the karelas and rub salt on the karelas. Cut slit in between and also rub the salt inside.keep aside for 2-3 hours or overnight.

Now wash the karelas properly in the running water.

Now in a bowl add gram flour, salt, Haldi, jeera dhania powder, red chilli powder and 1/2 tsp Oil.

Stuff the karelas.

In a non stick pan heat oil and add asofoetida. Place the stuffed karelas and stir it gently.

Close the pan with a thali over it with water in it.

In between stir the karelas and cook them.till soft.

Off the gas and transfer the karelas subji in a serving bowl.

Serve hot with Roti.

Enjoy this healthy subji with Dal Rice and Roti.
