Super Easy French Dip

These little sandwiches are simple but effective. Love the taste. This recipe here is the more simplified version.
You can make your own homemade beef stock but I used a good quality shop brought beef stock which is just as good as the homemade stock.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Pre-heat the oven to 180 c fan assisted.
- 2
Place the beef on an oven proof tray. Then rub well with olive oil and sprinkle well with salt and pepper.
- 3
Place in the oven and cook between 30-35 minutes. You want it to be pink inside.
- 4
Remove the beef from oven and leave to rest until it's cool enough to handle.
- 5
Using a slicer, slice the beef as thin as possible.
- 6
In a saucepan add the beef stock. And as you cut the beef add to the saucepan.
- 7
The longer you leave the meat soaking in beef stock the better it'll taste. You can leave the meat in the cold sauce for a few hours if you have time. When ready to eat, remove the meat and heat the beef stock.
- 8
Add the meat in the beef stock for about a minute to heat the meat through only.
- 9
For the bread I used, a sweet bun similar to brioche bread, but you can you your favourite bread. Cut or sliced in the middle.
- 10
Now layer the bread with the beef and add some cheese.
- 11
Add a small bowl of beef stock to each persons plate to dip the sandwiches. Enjoy
