Fry the bacon in heavy metal pot. Add first 1/2 teaspoon of pepper on bacon while frying.

After Bacon is almost done, add cabbage.

Continuously stirring cabbage n bacon until cabbage is completely covered in bacon fat.

Add remaining ingredients except water. Stir for five minutes until all the cabbage is well coated. (I add more bacon fat if needed)

Add water and stir well. Cook on med - med. high heat covered for 45 minutes to an hour. Depends on size of cabbage. Stir often.

Done cooking. Eat with cornbread n hot sauce. ENJOY
