Ginger and lemon turkey (or chicken) Ginger and lemon turkey (or chicken)
Even though daily cooking tends to be quite repetitive, sometimes you stop making something for no clear reason. The other day my eldest son was fondly remembering a chicken dish I used to make for a quick and tasty school day dinner years ago. So I made it as a Summer lunch today, using turkey instead of chicken, and happily it tasted the way he remembered 😊 Becky -
Stacy's Garlic & Herbed Turkey Breast Stacy's Garlic & Herbed Turkey Breast
This turkey breast has many flavors going on. Very tasty and moist. The directions seem complicated but are not. You can be a supetstar! I used a 4.5 lb turkey breast which I ordered at the butcher. The ingredients do not have to be adapted at all for a 6 lb turkey breast. Keep all the same. Note: for a 4.5 lb like mine the cooking time needs 15 min tented and not 20-40. Stacy Rigos -

#CA2025Turkey isn’t just for holidays especially when it was the best deal at the grocery storefor a basement sale price of .97 a pound. We would normally smoke the breast but the weather isn’t cooperating. Crockpots are handy when you are away, although you can put this in a cooking bag and pop in your oven. I adapted this recipe slightly that appeared in Taste of Home magazine. cindybear -

Applewood Smoked Turkey Breast Applewood Smoked Turkey Breast
This turkey breast was the best we have had smoked,. Turkey can end up dry if your not careful to take it out and wrap it before it's cooked completely through. We took it out at an internal temperature of 150, wrapped it well and the ambient heat cooked it to perfection, it was so juicy and tender. The spice rub is spicy, so if you want it milder decrease the sriracha and black pepper some. fenway -

A little creation I came up with to change it up. Quite simple but the Turkey was in the water for 24 hours. If you have never had a so called Mac n cheese with the Béchamel sauce replacing the cheese you must try! Thomas Harrington
