Ingredients

  1. 700 grmsdehradun rice
  2. 500 grmschicken
  3. 2-3onions sliced
  4. 1 tbspoon ginger garlic paste
  5. 2tomatoes sliced and diced
  6. 3-4whole garam masalas
  7. To tastesalt
  8. 2 tbspoon ghee
  9. 2 tbspoon white oil
  10. 1 tspoon turmeric powder
  11. 1 tSpoon red chilli powder
  12. 1 tspoon garam masala powder
  13. 2-3 tbspoon hung curd

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash the rice and soak

  2. 2

    Marinate the chicken pieces with salt,red chilli powder,curd, ginger garlic paste, garam masala powder and turmeric

    Heat a pan add the whole garam masalas and temper

  4. 4

    Add the onion slices n fry well

    Now add ginger garlic paste chilli powder salt and turmeric powder and mix

  6. 6

    Add the marinated chicken pieces and fry them

    Add tomato slices and green chilli

  8. 8

    Now add the rice and mix well and add warm water into it and cover

  9. 9

    As the rice and chicken pieces get cooked add the diced tomatoes and mix well

  10. 10

    Finally add ghee and garam marsala powder and switch off the fire

  11. 11

    Serve it hot
