Ingredients

2 servings
  1. seared tuna and marinade
  2. 2tuna steaks
  3. 1fresh squeezed lime
  4. 2 cloveof garlic crushed
  5. 1/4 tspsalt and pepper
  6. 1 tbspolive oil
  7. 1/2 tbspcoconut oil
  8. 1 tsptoasted sesame seeds
  9. 1/2 tspginger powder or 1 teaspoon fresh grated
  10. Sauted spinach, mushrooms, onions, and bacon
  11. 3 cupfresh spinach
  12. 1/2 smallred onion cut in half and sliced thin
  13. 2 mediummushrooms sliced
  14. 3srips of bacon sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
  15. 1 cloveof garlic sliced thin or minced
  16. 1salt and pepper to taste

    Whisk marinade ingredients add tuna steak set in fridge for about 20 mins. Turning at lesst once so the fish is completely covered

  2. 2

    Heat fry pan add chopped bacon

  3. 3

    Fry bacon until light brown. Add onions and mushrooms

  4. 4

    Cook bacon, onions, and mushrooms until onions are translucent. Add garlic.

  5. 5

    Meanwhile, place flat top grill on stove and heat on low temp. Or ready another fry pan for tuna.

  6. 6

    When garlic has become a beautiful light brown and the bacon is well cooked add 3 cups of fresh spinach. ** I would only add one cup at a time because fresh spinach is so fluffy until it cooks down.**

  7. 7

    On the flat top (or fry pan) add 1 teaspoon of olive oil and place tuna on.

  8. 8

    Sear tuna on each side for about 2 min. You want the center of the steak to be nice, pink, and juicy!

  9. 9

    Add a squeeze of lemon and enjoy!

  10. 10

    Last note*** I love tasted almond slices so I topped the sauted spinach with some. :)
