1 cupCrisco
2 cupSugar
4Egg yolks unbeaten
2 1/2 cupSifted self-rising flour
1 cupMilk
1 tspVanilla
4Egg whites beaten and set aside

Preheat oven to 350°.

Grease and flour cake pans. (3-4)

Cream crisco and sugar.

Add vanilla and mix well.

Add egg yolks and mix well.

Add part of flour and mix well, then part of milk, mix well. Continue until all flour and milk have beem added.

Fold beaten egg whites into batter.

Pour into cake pans.

Bake for 23-30 mimutes.
