Phyllo dough filled with leek and onions, shaped into triangles then baked: the perfect appetizer!
Steps
- 1
Preheat oven to 150 C.
- 2
Wash the leeks and drain them. Chop finely.
- 3
To prepare the filling, combine all the ingredients together :leeks, onions, chili pepper, corn oil, black pepper and salt. Mix well and set aside.
- 4
Cut the phyllo sheets into 4 cm wide strips and brush with water.
- 5
To make the samosa: take a phyllo strip and put a teaspoon of the filling toward one end of the strip. Take one of the bottom corners and fold diagonally over the filling to form a triangle. Fold diagonally again, in the opposite direction to form another triangle. Continue folding while maintaining the triangular shape till the end of the strip. Use a bit of water to seal the end of the strip. Repeat until all the filling is used.
- 6
Place the samosas on an oiled baking tray and bake until light brown. Serve hot.
