Kofta with Tahini and Orange – Amazing Flavor

Shape the ground beef into small patties and fry them in a skillet. You can add a little oil if you like, but I used the fat that comes out of the meat. Slice the potatoes into rounds, fry them, and arrange them in a baking dish. Place the cooked meat on top of the potatoes.

In a bowl, mix the tahini with the lemon juice, orange juice, and a pinch of salt. Pour this mixture over the meat and potatoes in the baking dish. Bake in the oven at 430°F (220°C) on the lower rack for about 15 minutes. Then move the dish to the upper rack to brown the top and let the sauce thicken slightly.
