Lemon Butter Sauce for Pasta
Simple, bright sauce for any pasta. Makes enough for 4 servings.

In a sauce pan, heat oil and add onions. Cook on low until caramelized (could take 30-45 minutes if the heat is super low but will turn out very nice).

Add garlic, shallot and chili flakes. Continue cooking until garlic is fragrant.

Add wine and bring to a boil. When wine is reduced by half, add the pasta, lemon juice, butter, and parmesan cheese.

Remove from heat and toss to coat pasta evenly.

Season with salt and pepper and garnish with parsley.
