
ELK STEAK IN BOURBON SAUCE

Preheat oven to 400

Cut potatoes in cubes, place in a small baking dish. Salt, pepper, and add garlic salt, and seasoned salt to the potatoes. Drizzle with olive oil.

Cover potatoes with foil and bake for forty five minutes until tender

Add beer and flour together and stir to make a batter

Cut onion into rings and add to the batter
- 6
Heat vegetable oil in skillet and deep fat fry battered onion rings until lightly brown

Heat olive oil in skillet

Salt and pepper steaks and fry in olive oil until medium well

When steaks are done, remove from pan

Turn off all open flames, and add bourbon to pan.

Light bourbon with a match, and let the flame burn out

If the flame does not go out, place a lid over the skillet to put out the flame

After the flame is out, add beef broth to pan and turn burner back on. Cook until reduced by half

To serve: dish potatoes in a pile in middle of plate. Slice steak and place on top of potatoes. Pour pan sauce over steak and potatoes.

Add three onion rings over each serving
