Put sugar, butter, cocoa and milk into saucepan, heat gently stirring constantly until butter melts and sugar is disolved.

Bring to the boil, do not stir!

Boil 5 minutes

Remove from heat, add vanilla and leave to stand for 5 minutes.

Beat until thick and glossy, then pour into buttered tin.
