
Cinnamon-Almond Butter cookie

in a large bowl, add flour, butter, almond extract and 1/4 cup sugar. with mixer at medium speed, beat ingredients until well mixed. (mixture will be crumbly)

with hands shape dough into a ball. if dough is too soft to roll out, cover and refrigerate until firm.

preheat oven to 325°F

on a lightly floured surface, with a rolling pin, roll into 12x8 inch rectangle. Using pastry wheel or knife, cut into strips 3x1 inch.

In a small bowl, mix remaining 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon.

bake 15 minutes.

sprinkle cinnamon mixture onto warm cookies.
