Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg gobhi (washed fresh & chopped)
  • 3medium size potato (washed, peel off &chopped)
  • 1 cupfresh peas (matar)
  • 1" finely chopped ginger
  • 4chopped green chilli
  • 1/2 cupfinely chopped coriander leaves
  • spices: salt as per the taste
  • 1/2 tbspn turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tbspn red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tbspn coriander powder
  • 1 tbspn sabzi masala
  • 1 tbspn cumin seeds
  • 1 pinchheeng
  • 2whole dry red chilli (break it in 2 pcs)
  • cooking oil

Steps

  1. 1

    In a pan take some cooking oil. in hot oil add whole dry red chilli & cumin seeds & heeng (low flame). add chopped vegetables (potato gobhi) & matar and mix it well. fry it for 10 mins. (medium heat)

  2. 2

    Add ginger & green chilli and fry it for 10 mins (medium heat)

  3. 3

    Now add salt as per the taste and all the spices (powder). cover the pan and cook it for 10 mins (medium heat)

  4. 4

    Switch off the gas and add coriander leaves and mix it well and cover the pan. masala aaloo gobhi matar is ready to eat.
