Ingredients

3 servings
  • 400 gmMushrooms (peel, wash and sliced)
  • 250 gmany basmati rice (soaked)
  • 2medium size potatoes cut into 4pieces
  • 1medium size sliced onion
  • 1large chopped tomato
  • 1 tablespoonginger garlic paste
  • 2green chillies cut into 3 pieces
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 teaspoonjeera
  • 1/2 teaspoonred chilli powder
  • 1 tablespooncoriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoongaram masala powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonturmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoonsFresh chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/4 cupcooking oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil in pressure cooker add jeera when it stop spluttering add onion and fry till it get pinkish brown. Add tomatoes and cook till it get soft.

    Add ginger garlic paste, green chilies, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder, Saute till oil start oozing.

  3. 3

    Add mushrooms and potatoes with little water now cook it for 2minutes.

  4. 4

    Add soaked rice with required water and pressure cook it on 3 to 4 whistle.

  5. 5

    Garnish coriander leaves and
    Serve hot with raita, papad, pickle.
